Nehra to call it quits

The indian team arrived in Hydrebad on Wednesday for the third and final T20 International against Australia to be played here on October 13 even as news broke out about the announcement of retirement plans by left arm pacer Ashish Nehra.

The 38-year old veteran speedster has reportedly informed the BCCI that he would be quitting interantional cricket after the first T20 against New Zeland to be played at his home ground, the Ferozshah Kotla in Delhi, on November 1.

It is said that Nehra had spoken to both the India captain Virat Kohli and the coach Ravi Shastri about his decision .

It was the right time to take the call - ASHISH NEHRA
