ISL season 5 to begin on September 29

ISL-5 to have 3 breaks including a 40-days break for the AFC tournament which will be held in UAE. The final of the ISL-5 will be held on March 16th or 17th. TIMING CHANGE The timings of the fifth season could be changed. Last seaon the matches kicked off at 8 PM. The organisers haven't finalised the timings yet but the matches could either start at 7 PM or 7:30 PM.

India U20 star Anwar Ali joins Mumbai City FC

The young defender will play for the team from Mumbai in the ISL from the coming season.... India U20 defender Anwar Ali has signed for Indian Super League (ISL) side Mumbai City FC from Minerva Punjab. Anwar was also part of the Indian team which took part in the U17 World Cup held in India last October and was a regular fixture in central defence.  The 17-year-old is one of the best junior players in the country right now and Mumbai City have secured his signature on a long-term deal.  He joins them on a three-year-deal and will now look to make the step up to ISL and continue his development.

Amrinder Singh signs three-year contract extension with Mumbai City FC

Amrinder Singh has signed a new three-year deal with   ISL  Amrinder has consistently been a standout performer for Mumbai City FC and has established his spot as one of the top goalkeepers of the country. club Mumbai City FC, committing his future with the Islanders until May 2021. Amrinder has consistently been a standout performer for Mumbai City FC and has established his spot as one of the top goalkeepers of the country. The 24-year-old joined Mumbai City FC for the 2016 season of the Indian Super League, initially on loan from Bengaluru FC. After joining in the second half of the season, Amrinder featured for Alexandre Guimaraes’ side six times, conceding just thrice and winning the Golden Glove award in the process.

ATK rope in FC Goa's Pronay Halder and Mohun Bagan's Ricky Lallawmawma for next season

The Kolkata-based franchise has secured the services of FC Goa defensive midfielder Pronay Halder and Mohun Bagan’s Ricky Lallawmawma and the contracts have been dated on 1 June 2018. In the interim, ATK has also shown interest in signing a goalkeeper for the coming season after Debjit Majumder didn’t have the best of campaigns. Marquee midfielder Eugeneson Lyngdoh is expected to continue his association at the Kolkata franchise for another couple of seasons.
