Mihir Hirwani

Mihir Hirwani is the son of former Indian leg spinner Narendra Hirwani. Mihir Hirwani Mihir Hirwani currently aged 24 is playing for Madhya Pradesh. Hirwani is a leg spin bowler who is yet to feature in the IPL and for Indian Cricket Team.  Mihir Hirwani has a great talent in him. Wriddhiman Saha most likely to miss Afghanistan Test

Wriddhiman Saha who has played 32 Test matches for India scoring 1164 runs up to date is going to be monitored ahead of the Afghanistan Test after he sustained injury during the IPL qualifier against Kolkata Knight Riders on May 25. Saha is India's main wicket-keeper for Test matches and he was even namedin the 15-man squad for the Afghanistan Test. If he's ruled out, India have the option of looking for a back-up or hand the gloves to KL Rahul, who was recently behind the for Kings XI Punjab in the recently concluded IPL. Dinesh Karthik  or   Parthiv Patel  would be called to replace Saha in the squad. Rohit Sharma has been left out of India's squad for Afghanistan's inaugural Test while Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar have been rested. Virat Kohli will also miss this Test as he wanted to gear up for the upcoming England Test by playing for Surrey but he also sustained an injury which kept him out of Surrey's squad. Domestic legend Devendra Bundela hangs up his boots

The Madhya Pradesh legend made his FC debut against Tamil Nadu in the 1995/96 Ranji Trophy. Veteran Madhya Pradesh batsman, Devendra Bundela, decided to draw the curtain on his illustrious Ranji Trophy career by announcing his retirement from first-class cricket on Saturday (March 31). The 41-year-old has scored 10,004 in FC cricket at an impressive batting average of 43.68. He also has 26 centuries and 54 half-centuries to his name. Despite contesting in the tournament for over two decades, he couldn't win the Ranji Trophy and that would remain the only unchecked box in Bundela's enviable domestic career. Irfan Pathan joins J&K in player-cum-mentor role

Irfan Pathan , the former India allrounder, has taken up a new role, that of player-cum-mentor of the Jammu & Kashmir side for the 2018-2019 domestic season. The 33-year-old has played for Baroda right through his Ranji Trophy career, but was dropped and removed as captain after two matches of the 2017-18 domestic season, in which he took two wickets and scored 88 runs. Irfan last represented India at the World T20 in Sri Lanka in 2012. At the IPL, he went unsold at the 2017 and 2018 auctions and last played top-level cricket in October 2017. J&K finished fourth in Group B of the Ranji Trophy last season, losing four of their six matches.

Sreenath Aravind announces retirement from domestic cricket

Karnataka bowler Sreenath Aravind has announced his retirement from domestic cricket after the end of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2018 final. The 33-year-old medium pacer finished with 186 wickets from 56 first-class games, as well as 57 wickets from 41 List A matches. The left-arm bowler was an integral part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL for a few seasons and was utilized to telling effect by Virat Kohli in the powerplays.

Pujara to prepare for England tour with Yorkshire stint

Cheteshwar Pujara  will warm up for India's Test series in England by playing county cricket for Yorkshire. Pujara will share overseas duties with New Zealand captain Kane Williamson. Pujara had two spells at Nottinghamshire last season and has also played county cricket for Derbyshire as he has become the most common India player on the county circuit.

S.Dhawan ruled out of first test

Indian opener  Shikhar Dhawan  has been ruled out of the opening Test against South Africa due to an ankle injury. As a consequence, Murali Vijay and KL Rahul are reportedly set to open the batting at Cape Town. The first Test between India and South Africa is scheduled to take place at Newlands Cricket Ground on Cape Town from January 5 to 9. The remaining two matches will be held at SuperSport Park in Centurion and New Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg.
